Definitely a blackout shade! This is super ridiculously easy to install. Took me like 10 minutes including finding my drill. I love that I can control it from my bed when I wake in the morning. It goes up and down smoothly. And I love that you can program a stopping height and lower limit. Will be buying more for other rooms in my house.
I bought these blinds for our bedroom. With 10-foot ceilings and being only 5 feet 3 inches tall, having automatic blinds that open and close themselves was a game-changer for me! In our other rooms, I have to use a pole to operate the blinds, but now I want these automatic blinds in many other rooms. I was a bit nervous about spending so much money since they were custom-made and non-returnable, but the instructions on the order sheet made everything easy and accurate, and they installed perfectly. We paid a little extra to buy the solar panels so the blinds' motor batteries never need manual charging. We ordered remote controls for multiple blinds, which are easy to use. The beige fabric on them looks nice, and I love how they disappear into the valance when raised. With our white walls, the white valance makes them blend in seamlessly without looking bulky at all, which I love. Overall, this is one of my husband's and my favorite purchases for our home, and we are very happy with them!
First, the instructions were great and the product is quality. I have now had it for a year and it works as it should. But the real reason to buy from these guys is the incredible customer service. A month ago, my grandson hid the remote — leaving the room dark. I emailed the company and they overnighted me a new one. Of course I found the original so emailed the company on a Saturday night. They responded quickly with information on how to reprogram so I could use both remotes (a spare for the next time my grandson visits!). I'd buy again from this company even if I didn't need another shade just to enjoy the customer service!
